Shopping Confusion
Wednesday, March 4th, 2009On a recent trip to Asia and the Far East, I needed sanitary pads and not finding a shopping mall in the vicinity, I went to the nearest shop that sold things across the counter. When I said I wanted pads, the helpful shop assistant gave me a writing pad and when I elaborated saying napkins, he dug out a box of paper napkins and handed to me with a flourish!
