Car Donations Can Help Restore Shattered Lives
There’s a famous saying that goes – Charity begins at home! Yes, certainly our primary responsibility is to care for family and friends, but that does not preclude us from offering a helping hand to those less fortunate. It is only when we give that we receive and that is how the circle of life completes itself. Donations in cash are always welcome; but donations in kind are also a blessing. Say you have three cars parked in your garage and the family could make do with two. This Thanksgiving season why not make a car donation. Car Donations and even Boat Donations would gladly be accepted by certain charity organizations.
What would they do with an old car/boat? Sell it and with the proceeds rehabilitate delinquent, confused teenagers; send training material and books to those incarcerated in correction facilities; and make animation movies for children; movies that end with morals. The idea being that the young are more impressionable than adults and this could help mould their character in later years. House Donations are not unheard of either. Granted that makes for an exceedingly generous donation, but philanthropy is a virtue many possess. So before you decide to sell of your old car, because a new one is on the way, why not pause for a bit and ask yourself if a little money in the bank is actually worth more than helping restore a shattered life?
